Born and raised in Anchorage, Nathaniel is a photographer whose work explores the relationships between people, animals and wilderness, especially in the remote, northern expanses of Alaska. With more than 15 years experience working throughout Alaska, his editorial images have appeared in The New York Times, Smithsonian Magazine, National Geographic's "Proof," Outside Magazine, Oprah Magazine, Grist, Runner's World Magazine, and The Washington Post.
