Calling all emerging content creators!

Do you wish to contribute to building a healthier social media landscape in the Philippines? Are you considering a niche in educational content or environmental issues? And have you been thinking about learning how to do reels on top of your content styles?

If the answer was a ‘yes’ to these questions, then this opportunity is for you.

The Pulitzer Center invites you to Klik Ka Agad 2026, a content creator master class program in the Philippines. After piloting content creator programs in Africa and Latin America, the Pulitzer Center is launching our first initiative for content creators in the Philippines. This is your chance to participate in a global movement of content creators championing important issues inspired by Pulitzer Center-supported journalism!

Taking place between October 29-31, the program will feature master classes led by veteran content creators, audio-visual artists, and journalists. Refine your skills in journalist-level reporting, tagos-sa-puso narrative storytelling, and professional-level videography with experts such as:

  • Hans Rivera, creative director, FEATR Media and The Fat Kind Inside Studios
  • Karol Ilagan, journalist, Pulitzer Center grantee and journalism professor at University of the Philippines Diliman
  • Mara Cepeda, correspondent at The Straits Times
  • Nikka C. Gaddi, development advocate and content creator

Each master class leads to a capstone project: Participants will be given two weeks after the program proper to create a reel for social media. Upon completing the training program and getting the reel video published, participants will receive USD 300 as compensation.

The initiative is open to all ages, but minors must inform their parents or guardians first before applying. Creators working across diverse formats—carousels, essays, or videos both long and short-form—are encouraged to apply. But please note that this particular program focuses on production of a vertical video for social media.

The workshop will also be held in the lush, green Ateneo de Manila campus. Eight to 10 selected participants will get to experience a one-of-a-kind training program in Quezon City’s urban green centers along the Marikina Valley. Meals and lodging and transportation to and from the venue will also be covered.

The application process involves sharing a cover letter and three samples comprising content pieces an applicant has previously produced. These can be a photo carousel, social media essay, or a reel. You can send one of each type of content or three of the same, or a mix of all content types—it is up to the applicant.

Interested? Please fill out the Google Form linked here.

The deadline for applications is October 14, 2026.
