Charisma Holly
GUEST SPEAKER
Charisma Holly is a spoken word artist born and raised in Detroit. An alum of InsideOut Literary Arts, Charisma has had incredible opportunities to perform all across the city. Additionally, Charisma has been invited to read at "Afterschool Day" on the capitol steps for three consecutive years, and has read her original work for the 517 Poetry Room in Lansing. Her work is currently featured on a mural found at 19360 Livernois Avenue in Detroit. Charisma writes to share her voice, and to be an inspiration to the world around her.
Charisma's poem "Healing Roots" was a finalist in the Pulitzer Center's 2024 Fighting Words Poetry Contest's Climate and Environment category.
