Applications Open for Free Digital Climate Storytelling Training for U.S. Reporters

Want your climate reporting to reach more people where they already get their news? Free, six-week virtual training by the Pulitzer Center is designed for journalists who want to amplify their climate reporting with short videos for TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube Shorts.
This program will help you master the skills you need to transform a story you’re already working on into a polished, ready-to-post digital video. Along the way, you’ll build confidence using simple, mobile-first storytelling techniques. No prior video experience is needed.
This online course is one-two hours a week and will require about three hours between sessions for writing, reporting, video editing, etc. Seats are limited. Apply today!

Meet your course instructor
Science video journalist Eli Kintisch is the Ted Turner Professor of Environmental Media at George Washington University, where he teaches “Climate Reporting on TikTok and IG.”
His work has been published by Science, Vox, PBS, The Washington Post, Scientific American, and MIT Technology Review, among other outlets.
