Daniela Blanco

Daniela Blanco is the editorial director at Infobae and a communications professional with more than 20 years of experience in national and international media. 

Blanco holds a degree in communication sciences from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), and specializes in journalism, media, and social-impact reporting.
 

Blanco is a founding member and board member of WINN (Women in the News Network), a network connecting more than 5,000 Spanish-speaking women journalists and communicators. She is also a university professor, academic, and speaker on communication and society issues.


She completed postgraduate studies in media, society, and democracy in partnership with The Freedom Forum and Konrad Adenauer Foundation, as well as postgraduate studies in health journalism through the Georgetown University Latin America Leadership Program (LALP).
 

Blanco founded and directed Un Ojo Avizor en los Medios, a media-focused publication that became an important training platform for communication students at UBA. She is also the author of the books Veinte años de medios y democracia en la Argentina and Cuando el desencanto, encanta.
