Chloe Hadjimatheou is The Observer's narrative editor and an award-winning investigative journalist.
She broke the story of how one of Britain's best-selling memoirs, The Salt Path, was based on deception and lies. She has also reported two podcast series for Tortoise Investigates—Lucky Boy and The Gas Man—and produced the series The State of Netanyahu.
Hadjimatheou has a particular interest in stories in the Middle East, especially Israel-Palestine and Syria.
