Alon Aviram
GUEST CONTRIBUTOR
Alon Aviram is an investigative reporter at The Gecko Project, where he follows the money and the damage behind organised environmental crime. He blends OSINT with shoe-leather reporting to expose how companies game the system and sidestep rules meant to protect
communities and the environment.
His work has exposed corporate spying operations inside Big Tobacco, as well as British organised crime networks linked to protection rackets and unsolved murders. Previously, he co-founded The Bristol Cable media cooperative, where his co-reporting on modern-day
slavery won a British Journalism Award and was shortlisted for the Orwell Prize.
