Paulina Rowińska is a science writer and author of Mapmatics, a popular science book on the mathematics of maps that won Austria’s Science Book of the Year Award.
She is an editorial intern at Undark magazine and a graduate student in science writing at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
She holds a doctorate in mathematics from Imperial College London.
