12 Potret Hutan Hujan Tropis yang Tersisa di Pulau Jawa

Pekalongan, IDN Times - Hutan Petungkriyono terletak di Kabupaten PekalonganJawa Tengah. Ketinggian hutan tersebut sekitar 500-1.700 meter di atas permukaan laut (mdpl).

Hutan itu milik Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) Perum Perhutani yang pengelolaannya dibawah Kesatuan Pemangku Hutan (KPH) KPH Pekalongan Timur melalui Bagian Kesatuan Pemangkuan Hutan (BKPH) Doro. Ada 10 desa yang berada di wilayah hutan tersebut.

Berdasarkan data Perhutani per November 2020, luas hutan Petungkriyono mencapai 5.847,29 hektare (ha). IDN Times secara khusus mengabadikan kondisi salah satu hutan hujan tropis yang tersisa di Pulau Jawa tersebut, berikut ini.
