We Became Fragments follows Syrian refugee Ibraheem Sarhan through his first week of 10th grade in Winnipeg. It's a story about loss, resilience, and one young man’s identity as he adapts to a new country while his home is at war.

On August 1, "We Became Fragments" will show as one of seven short documentary films in the LA Shorts International Festival. 

The back-to-back screening of the documentaries will take place at the Laemmle North Hollywood and will last nearly two hours.
