A total of 42 Campus Consortium Reporting Fellows from across the United States will meet in Washington, D.C., to share their work with the Pulitzer Center team and each other. Highlights will also include a D.C. scavenger hunt and networking opportunities with professional journalists and editors.

Jonathan Custodio, a LaGuardia Community College Reporting Fellow alum and graduate of Lehman College who is now the Bronx reporter for THE CITY, will be a featured speaker on Friday evening, as will grantee Nick Schifrin. Schifrin is a PBS NewsHour's foreign affairs and defense correspondent and was previously a correspondent for Al Jazeera America in the Middle East, and in Afghanistan and Pakistan for ABC News in London.

On Saturday morning, at the "How to Tell a Good Story and Get the Word Out" panel, participants will hear from Peter Canellos, managing editor for enterprise at POLITICO; Rhitu Chatterjee, NPR health correspondent; Jaime Joyce, a member of the Pulitzer Center Campus Consortium Advisory Council and TIME for Kids former executive editor; and Julia Rendleman, a photojournalist and journalism professor at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. All four are Reporting Fellow advisers who have provided mentorship to the Fellows.
