On December 3, 2019, The Pulitzer Center and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel will co-host a town hall meeting to address concerns surrounding Wisconsin's struggling dairy industry. The panel discussion will be held at the Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center in Manitowoc where industry leaders and local farmers will raise awareness about the ups and downs the industry faces currently and going forward.

The public event will draw on reporting from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Pulitzer Center-sponsored project, Dairyland in Distress. The project is part of the Center's Bringing Stories Home initiative, which funds local and regional U.S. newsrooms to cover underreported stories that might not otherwise get told.
