The Sharp Seminar is a yearlong joint initiative between the Pulitzer Center and the College of William & Mary for students to produce works of journalism sparked by their personal and research interests.
On Friday, April 22, 2022, students will share their reporting experiences with their peers, faculty and the general public via a research panel discussion on the campus. Virtual viewing of the panel also is available.
This academic year is the 11th time students at William & Mary have participated in the Sharp Seminar as part of the Pulitzer Center-W&M Campus Consortium partnership. As part of the yearlong seminar, students work with professional journalists to develop a story of interest and are provided travel funding for on-the-ground reporting over winter break. At the end of the seminar, student stories are eligible to be published on the Pulitzer Center's website.
