Pulitzer Center grantee and veteran journalist Reese Erlich launches the South Dakota State University-Pulitzer Center Campus Consortium partnership with his September 2012 visit to the SDSU campus featuring his lecture the "Arab Spring from Syria to Egypt and Gaza." The Pulitzer Center is co-sponsoring the September 11 lecture with the Fillbrandt Forum of the SDSU Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, the South Dakota World Affairs Council, and SDSU Academic Affairs.

Erlich's lecture focus on the Arab Spring stems from his Pulitzer Center-supported reporting project, "Arab Spring in Syria, Egypt and Gaza," which explores the uprisings across the greater Middle East.

Erlich's multi-day visit also includes a series of classroom discussions and more informal conversations on the South Dakota campus. To learn more about the SDSU-Pulitzer Center Campus Consortium partnership, please visit the SDSU event website.
