Lunch and Learn: An Introduction to Marine Carbon Dioxide Removal (mCDR)

More than £370m has been invested into mCDR in the past five years. Where is the money going, and why?

At this year's Carbon Forward Expo, in London, Carbon Pulse Editor and Pulitzer Center grantee Allison Gacad and Ocean Editor Jessica Aldred will be launching a new project, Ocean Carbon Removal Watch (https://oceancdrwatch.org/), that’s designed to help journalists investigate the finance, science, and governance of mCDR. Gacad and Aldred will talk through the database and field reporting, how and why it’s important for journalists to cover this topic, then make space for networking.

Carbon Forward Expo is a yearly conference that gathers carbon market industry leaders and stakeholders for networking, workshops, and panel discussions.
