Pulitzer Center Senior Editor Boyoung Lim will join Hinzpeter grand prize winner and grantee Phil Cox in Seoul for a screening of Cox’s award-winning film The ‘Spider-Man’ of Sudan, followed by a conversation on its production on Wednesday, October 26. This event, hosted by the Hinzpeter Awards, is co-sponsored by the Pulitzer Center.

This year’s winners of the Hinzpeter Awards were announced on September 13, 2022. Cox received the top prize, 'The World at a Crossroads' Award, for his film.

The Awards are named for Jürgen Hinzpeter, a German journalist who documented the deadly mass protests against the South Korean government known as the Gwangju Uprising in May 1980.
