Pulitzer Center grantee, photojournalist, and documentary filmmaker Michael O. Snyder will visit Southern Illinois University at Carbondale via Zoom on October 24, 2023. He will visit a photojournalism course and speak with students about finding and developing stories, the ethics of access, and his Center-supported project, The Queens of Queen City.

He is a Portrait of Humanity Award winner, a Climate Journalism fellow at the Bertha Foundation, and resident artist at the McGuffey Art Center in Charlottesville, Virginia.
