Grantee Julia Rendleman Speaks at University of Missouri on 'Picturing Water'

 

Pulitzer Center grantee Julia Rendleman will visit the University of Missouri on November 12 and 14 to present her reporting and meet with students. 

On November 12 at 6:00pm CST in the Smith Forum at the Reynolds Journalism Institute, Rendleman will deliver a public lecture titled "Picturing Water," where she will discuss five of her water-related reporting projects from around the country. See more details here.

In addition to this talk, she will visit a science writing class and meet with photojournalism students. 

Rendleman is a photojournalist and journalism professor at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Her photography has focused on history, community, human health, and the environment.

She is a Pulitzer Center Reporting Fellow alum (2011) and has been a Center grantee multiple times for reports including a video story about the effects global economics have on Jamaican farmers and a photo essay about Bhutanese refugees living in Pittsburgh and in Nepal.
