Pulitzer Center grantee Caleb Hellerman will visit Boston University on Thursday, March 6, 2025, to deliver two lectures to freshman and sophomore students enrolled in the communications course COM 101.  

Hellerman has spent two decades covering science and medicine for PBS NewsHour, ABC News, and the CNN Medical News Unit. He has produced and directed films for FRONTLINE, NOVA, CNN Films, and Horizon on BBC. He currently oversees enterprise news coverage for the Global Health Reporting Center and is the executive producer of the PBS Digital Studios series Vitals.

Hellerman has contributed to multiple Pulitzer Center-supported projects, including Rural Rx and Climate and Health on the Brink

His most recent project, West Virginia's Daunting Health Hurdles, explains the health challenges faced by many West Virginians, and showcases the resourcefulness and strength of community members.
