Jackie Spinner traveled to Morocco in August 2017 to spend a little more than three months living and reporting from the North African county. Her stories published in The Washington Post and Christian Science Monitor cover changes in press freedoms, the country's failure to pass a sexual harassment protection law for women, and Morocco's push for renewable energy. Another story for The Washington Post looks at how the U.S. State Department is withdrawing financial support for diplomat families with children with special needs. She also worked on producing a documentary on how children with autism are educated in Morocco.
