Photographer Sara Hylton will be posting photos from her trip to Kashmir with writer Maddy Crowell on the Pulitzer Center's Instagram account throughout the week of March 19, 2018.

Hylton and Crowell's project took a deep dive into Indian's new rail line to the isolated Muslim-majority valley of Jammu and Kashmir. The Kashmir Railway will be the first time Kashmiris have easy to access to rest of India.

Some of Hylton's photos were pulished in the March issue of Harper's Magazine. Follow our Instagram account to see more.
