It has been nearly five months since Egypts revolution began, but thousands of citizens still demonstrate in Tahrir Square, demanding the interim government recognize rights for the marginalized. Many of the protests have focused on the countrys working conditions as almost 40 percent of the population is currently living below the poverty line. But not everyone supports the lingering dissent. Conservative farmers in rural areas, frustrated with rising prices, want the rallies to stop so the country can attempt to reach a level of normalcy.
