Tania Mohammed

Tania Mohammed has been teaching English Language Arts at a New York City public high school for the past seven years and resides in Brooklyn. She obtained her teaching degree from Teachers College Columbia University. As a second-generation Bengali-American, she experienced the struggles that immigrant families go through, especially when navigating educational opportunities and careers. As a result, she works with students who have recently arrived in the U.S. and is invested in improving their lives through encouragement and education. During her free time, Tania likes to read, explore cultural activities and restaurants in NYC, and travel.
