Nathaniel Herz

Nathaniel Herz has lived and reported in Alaska for more than a decade, with stints at the Anchorage Daily News and Alaska Public Media. He now publishes a news website and newsletter, Northern Journal, which covers Alaska's environment, energy industries, government, and politics. 

He's also a freelance writer and reporter for newspapers, magazines, and web publications, including The New York Times, National Public Radio, and The Washington Post.
