Michael Wakeford

Michael Wakeford is an associate professor of history and humanities at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. He teaches courses in United States cultural and intellectual history — with particular interests in the histories of the arts in American life, urban history, and public history.

He is also the executive director of MUSE Winston-Salem (the Museum of Understanding, Storytelling, and Engagement).
