Mary Landers

Mary Landers writes about the environment for the Savannah Morning News. Her stories range from the practical aspects of saving money with roof-top solar to the wonder of endangered right whales that give birth off the coast of Georgia. She had tracked residents' reactions to climate and development as both have heated up along the coast. Mary served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Malawi. She earned a biology degree from Georgetown University and a master's in journalism from the University of Missouri.
