Mary Aiken
TEACHER FELLOW
Mary Aiken is a 5th and 6th grade Gifted Teacher in Cheltenham School District where she has taught for 26 years. She is a proud graduate of Temple University (BA); Drexel University (MA); and University of PA (School Administration Certificate). During Mary’s tenure at CSD she founded an African American girls leadership group (P.R.I.D.E.) to help students find their voice in school and in the world. Mary has collaborated with Mighty Writers, a non profit organization in the Philadelphia area, and the Philadelphia Parks and Recreation department to teach writing and to bring “Girl Power” to their organizations. Mary loves college basketball and reading. She lives in Wynnewood, PA with her husband and their four children.
