Lily Lloyd Burkhalter is a French-American writer. Her current projects include an essay collection about textiles, loss, and language and a novel structured by the logic of the loom. Her work has been published or is forthcoming in Ploughshares, The Missouri Review, DIAGRAM, and elsewhere. She learned to sew in Cameroon and learned to weave in Chicago.
