Bernice Yeung is the managing editor of the University of California, Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism’s Investigative Reporting Program and a former ProPublica reporter.

Her first book, In a Day’s Work: The Fight to End Sexual Violence Against America’s Most Vulnerable Workers, was honored with the PEN America/John Kenneth Galbraith Award for Nonfiction

Her article “Should Hotel Chains Be Held Liable for Human Trafficking?” was published in The New Yorker.
