Andreas Flouris

Scientist and researcher Andreas Flouris is an associate professor at the University of Thessaly in Greece, and a visiting professor at the University of Ottawa in Canada.
He has published widely on climate change impacts and has studied prevention measures addressing occupational heat in Canada, Cyprus, Denmark, Greece, Slovenia, Spain, and the United States.
He is the scientist behind the recent strengthened legislation addressing occupational heat stress in Qatar, and is an expert scientist for the World Health Organization and the International Labour Organization.
