An English summary of this report is below. A Spanish summary of the original report, a Climate Tracker podcast episode, follows.

In the Colombian Amazon, 22 Indigenous communities decided to join a carbon credit project in the hopes of protecting the forest and alleviating the communities' most basic needs.

However, the project never fulfilled its objectives, not even the most basic one, which was to curb deforestation. Today, the forest remains at risk from new threats, and the communities are increasingly divided.

Hoy la selva sigue en riesgo frente a nuevas amenazas y las comunidades cada vez más divididas.
