Pulitzer Center’s Data Editor Will Join Talks About Media's Future in the Era of AI

The Center's data editor, Kuek Ser Kuang Keng, will join two panels at the CTRL+J APAC Conference, July 22-24, 2025, in Jakarta, Indonesia. According to its website, CTRL+J is a series of talks that "bring together key voices from around the world to discuss the relationship between tech and journalism."
The conference—co-organized by the Indonesian Cyber Media Association (AMSI), Indonesia's Alliance of Independent Journalists (AJI), and the International Fund for Public Interest Media (IFPIM)—marks the second in a series of regional and international conversations that started in São Paulo, Brazil, in March 2025.

"Envisioning the Future of Media and Tech in the Era of AI in Asia Pacific"

This session will examine how media organizations in the Asia Pacific are responding to AI and how these changes may transform the information ecosystem in the region. The panel will discuss regional trends, vulnerabilities, and opportunities that are specific to the diverse region's political, social, and economic realities.
