The Pulitzer Center will connect with attendees in the exhibit hall and present a workshop at this year's National High School Journalism Convention in Philadelphia, a multi-day event hosted by the Journalism Education Association and the National Scholastic Press Association.

The JEA/NSPA National High School Journalism Convention is a semiannual gathering of high school journalists and advisers sponsored by the Journalism Education Association and its partner, the National Scholastic Press Association. With typical attendance of more than 4,000 delegates, the JEA/NSPA convention has become the place to seek solutions to the most challenging publishing and broadcasting problems, share and celebrate success stories, see what’s new in the media marketplace, discover trends, and network with students and advisers from throughout the United States.

Visit the Pulitzer Center Team in the Exhibit Hall

Education team staff will be on site to share opportunities to learn from and get involved with the Pulitzer Center, from student contests to classroom connections with professional journalists. Visit us at booth #800 in the exhibitor hall to connect, and to contribute your voice to a project on combating science misinformation and envisioning a healthy future. Contributors can write lines of poetry for immediate publication in a virtual gallery.

Join Us for a Workshop on Friday, November 8 at 1:00pm EST

Facts matter, but they're often insufficient to change people’s minds. In this workshop, we’ll explore why hard data alone is rarely enough to dispel misinformation, and storytelling's power to fill in the gaps. In addition to exploring traditional journalistic techniques, participants will engage with poetry as a mode of truth-seeking and storytelling.
