Lucero Ascarza

Lucero Ascarza is a journalist for Salud con lupa and has experience covering gender, labor rights, and environmental issues. She worked as a reporter for the digital media outlet Wayka, the winner of the Journalism and Human Rights Award in 2019, and as an investigative journalist for Convoca, in which she participated in the global investigation the Panama Papers, coordinated by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists.
Currently, she is a pre-teacher in the Specialized Journalism Workshop course at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP).
