Jens Erik Gould

Jens Erik Gould has reported from over a dozen countries on issues including health, immigration, politics, the environment, education, crime, economic policy and the oil industry. Most recently, he is a regular contributor to Time and Time.com from southern California, and he produces and hosts the video series, "Bravery Tapes," which uses journalism to tell stories of human courage. Previously, Jens was a staff correspondent for Bloomberg News in Mexico City, covering the economy, politics and the drug war. He began his career covering Hugo Chavez and Veneuzela, where he was a regular contributor to The New York Times and National Public Radio. Jens is the recipient of a Fulbright scholarship and has an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.
