Anna Hoffman is a senior at Kent State University pursuing degrees in political science and global communication studies. During previous trips abroad she has studied political dissidents in the Czech Republic and language learning in Italy. Anna spent a semester studying in Washington, D.C., where she interned as a research assistant at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. This summer she will be conducting research for VH1 in New York City. During the school year she works for the student-run news site, kentwired.com, and is working on her undergraduate thesis, analyzing effects of satirical journalism. In her free time, Anna enjoys running, traveling, and drinking coffee.
