The Chocóan Rainforest is home to great biodiversity, but its ecosystem is under threat. Ayanna Dickinson underscores the importance of protecting the Chocó and coastal islands such as Isla de la Plata—showing us blue-footed boobies and frigate birds, as well as a deforested area that was converted into an African palm plantation.
