A Day in the Life of a Haitian Schoolgirl

Cynthia, a thirteen year old girl, lives with her parents in a tent camp in Port-au-Prince, the capital of Haiti. Cynthia and her family moved to the tent camp after the Jan. 2010 earthquake, in which more than 200,000 people were killed and many more lost their homes. Today, in the capital of Port-au-Prince, 500,000 people still live in tent camps.
