Her father was a gang member. As a way of protecting her and her brother's lives, she understands she should not say where she lived or who her father was. At such a young age, she attempted suicide when her father and mother were arrested. The Salvadoran Association Pro-Rural Health helps her with school and guides her grandmother to cooperate in human and educational training.
