"The Forgotten OneƵ" reveals one of Germany's darkest secrets: the current state of refugees in the countryside of Bavaria. The story takes place four years after the celebration of Germany's open door policy in 2015 that welcomed thousands of refugees.

This project explores the idea of fantasy versus reality, and takes viewers on an intimate journey into the lives of one of Germany's rising populations: Nigerian refugees.  The project highlights the growing movement among refugees eager for liberation—those who overcome isolation, suicide, and governmental constraints.
