Journalist Sasha Chavkin will examine China’s exposure to commodities linked to deforestation, including Chinese state-owned enterprises. Following China’s recent pledge to help end forest loss and degradation by 2030, the actions of these companies will provide the clearest indication of how the rising superpower plans to address global deforestation.
