Vildana Khamidullina

Vildana Khamidullina is an immigrant from the Russian Federation who moved to the U.S. at the age of 17 with knowledge of elementary English. Since moving to this country, her main goal was to get an education. After several years she reached her dream and began her educational path. Only a little over a year ago she made a decision to go towards journalism and to this day it is her passion.

Within this time, she was able to be published in local New York City papers with more than 55 stories on a broad range of topics, including but not limited to New York City real estate, events, business openings, and general interest pieces. She achieved an honor to be on the Dean's List for each semester since she started college. She has taken part in several projects to support immigrant students and students at community college to encourage them achieve their educational goals.
