Pulitzer Center's Jon Sawyer to Speak at Newseum

The Newseum, in association with American University's School of Communication and the Ford Foundation, will host a conference on Advocacy Journalism in the Digital Age. The conference will feature three breakout panel discussions that focus on the rise of advocacy journalism and its use in nonprofit organizations. The Pulitzer Center's Jon Sawyer will participate in the open forum Case Studies: What Works and How? What does 'Success' Look Like? from 10:30am-12:15pm. Other participating organizations include Bloomberg News, the National Wildlife Federation, NPR, Huffington Post, Oxfam and the United Nations Development Programme.
