Zane Irwin

Zane Irwin is a student journalist from Kansas City, Missouri. He is currently finishing his undergraduate studies in Political Science and French at Swarthmore College near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Zane has covered global issues, from the experiences of migrants to climate change, and local topics, like the legacy of racism in Kansas City’s housing policies. His work has been published in the local online newspaper The Shawnee Mission Post and in a variety of college-affiliated publications. Outside of journalism, his interests include reading, singing in the shower, and travel.
