Sara Shipley Hiles

Sara Shipley Hiles is an associate professor at the University of Missouri School of Journalism and the executive director of the Mississippi River Basin Ag & Water Desk, a collaborative reporting network covering agriculture, water, climate, and other environmental issues across the river basin.
She is a board member of the Society of Environmental Journalists and a former staff reporter at The Times-Picayune in New Orleans, The Courier-Journal in Louisville, Kentucky, and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
