Song and faith are fulcrums of the St. Theresa Point reserve. Both are the most basic community building blocks and create the foundation from which all other community experiences are shared.

Estimated to be around 99 percent Roman Catholic, faith leaders and spiritual practitioners in the community have slowly been incorporating traditional ceremonies and customs into Catholic practices. The inclusion of drums, pipes, tobacco, song, and ceremonial dress in Catholic rites, as well as the increasing popularity of the Sweat Lodge and Sun Dance ceremonies, have greatly impacted the way youth construct views on religion and religious identity.

The Faith Family Retreat is an annual fall festival where community members join in celebration of family, children, life-givers (women), elders, and ancestors. The elaborate campsites reflect different family dynasties that connect to the historic community and maintain legacy and heritage through faith, song, and storytelling.
