Misha Friedman traveled to Cape Town to report on the human stories behind the statistics of HIV and tuberculosis epidemic in South Africa. He returned in 2016 to re-visit women who have both HIV and multi-drug resistant tuberculosis. Here he discusses some of the difficulties he encountered while reporting from South African townships.
