In December 2014, Erika Check Hayden traveled to Sierra Leone to report on the Ebola epidemic. Here Check Hayden reports from an Ebola treatment center near the country's capital, Freetown, run by Save the Children. She focuses on the challenges health workers face in a country that has seen more cases of Ebola than any other. To date, 8,000 Ebola infections have been reported in Sierra Leone; the total overall is 18,000.
