Anna Badkhen, a journalist, has spent the past year and half traveling in northern Afghanistan. She felt that she could only understand the country if she slowed down and lived at an Afghan pace. She spent time doing the everyday things - laundry, preparing food, doing dishes- to give her an inside glimpse into the people.
