This is the story of the Trump effect. Over the course of two years, Sarah Bellingham and Max Toomey have followed the mostly-unofficial Trump campaign in Bucks County, PA. With exclusive access to rallies, meetings, and intimate personal moments, the documentary strives to give an enigmatic movement a face. Told through the eyes of the people who adore Trump most, the film asks two questions that resound through our nation and across our political spectrum: how, and why?
People 4 Trump takes its name from the grassroots group in Pennsylvania, led by Bucks County businessman Jim Worthington. The film follows Jim, as well as avid Trump supporters Michele and Bobbie. This feature documentary will span from the beginning of the 2016 election to the end of the 2018 midterms.
The presidential election may be over, but the movement has just begun.
